  1. REMOVE THE BANDAGE IN THE SHOWER or over the sink & with clean hands gently WASH WITH UNSCENTED SOAP or dish soap.

If the tattoo is still shiny give it another wash  to remove as much blood and plasma as possible. (this is what creates scabbing).

SANIDERM

KEEP THESE ON FOR 24 HOURS IF POSSIBLE OR AT LEAST OVERNIGHT.

DO NOT LEAVE saniderm on for more than 24 hours despite what your homies or the internet says.

The adhesive on these bandages has been known to cause irritation and redness. if you begin to feel discomfort remove ASAP

If saniderm is leaking or falling off just take it off  early and proceed with aftercare routine.

  1. Do everything you normally do in the shower first & let the bandage loosen under the warm water.
  2. Carefully remove the bandage in the shower. Be patient and pull away slowly to avoid injury.
  3. With clean hands gently WASH with unscented soap or dish soap.
  4. Pat dry with clean towel or paper towel.
If the tattoo is still shiny give it another wash  to remove as much blood and plasma as possible. (this is what creates scabbing).

LOTION

AVOID USING LOTION FOR 3/5 DAYS AFTER YOU GET YOUR TATTOO.

Let that puppy dry out!

ideally you want the broken up top layer to dry up and fall off.

After 3/4 days use a small amount of unscented lotion or aquafor to soothe your tattoo.

Lotion will not soothe itchiness entirely, the itch is usually hair growing back.

When it comes to lotion less is more.
